Colin worked for over 7 years as a research associate at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units at the University of Stuttgart. He has been group leader for mechatronic systems and processes.

Frederik completed his doctorate in 2022 at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units at the University of Stuttgart. In addition to Collectu, he is also a research coordinator at ARENA2036, where he works with research partners on solutions for future digital value creation.
About Us
The development of Collectu began in 2020 to address the everyday challenges of automation. At the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units at the University of Stuttgart, Colin and Frederik focused on creating innovative solutions for seamless integration and communication across different interfaces and systems. Projects with Collectu not only streamlined automation processes, but also incorporated cutting-edge machine learning algorithms to improve decision-making and the adaptability of different manufacturing processes.

Small and medium-sized enterprises in particular - the backbone of our economy - have untapped potential in their data. By using the information hidden within it, data-driven solutions can promote innovation and growth, as well as develop sustainable digital services.
